ALKEME acquires Dunhill Marketing and Insurance Services
Deal will see the firm bolster its operational footprint
The insurance brokerage ALKEME has expanded its operations by acquiring San Diego-based Dunhill Marketing & Insurance Services as part of its strategic plan to diversify its service offerings and reinforce its market presence.
Established in 1992, Dunhill Insurance Services specialises in life insurance and annuities targeted at high-net-worth individuals, including entertainers and athletes. The company is noted for managing exceptionally large insurance policies, often exceeding $100 million in face value.
Curtis Barton, CEO of ALKEME, commented on the acquisition, and said: “Integrating Dunhill into our portfolio not only boosts our capabilities but also supports our goals of upholding high service standards and broadening our product range to effectively meet client needs.”
Tony Steigerwald, president of Dunhill, also shared his positive outlook on the deal and said: “This alliance with ALKEME enables us to merge our strengths, which will enhance the quality of service and expand our influence in the elite life and annuity insurance sectors.”
Since its foundation in 2020, ALKEME has pursued growth through strategic acquisitions, now boasting over 40 acquisitions. The company operates from more than 35 locations across 16 states, providing a broad array of insurance products across both commercial and personal lines, as well as employee benefits and wealth management services.
The company’s dynamic growth strategy, focus on innovative solutions, and commitment to maintaining autonomy among partner agencies have enabled ALKEME to achieve rapid growth, earning it recognition as the fifth fastest-growing brokerage according to Business Insurance rankings.
The acquisition of Dunhill is expected to further enhance ALKEME’s product offerings, particularly in high-value life insurance and annuities. The deal will see ALKEME increase its operational footprint while also enriching the quality of service offered to its clients.
