Preferred Employers Insurance names new vice president of claims
Industry vet has been “a major contributor to our company’s success”
Insurance firm Preferred Employers Insurance, a Berkley company, has announced the appointment of Stephanie Graham to the firm’s vice president of claims.
Preferred Employers Insurance President S. Akbar Khan noted Graham’s important contributions to the firm’s operations within the last few years.
“Stephanie has been a major contributor to our company’s success over the past 13 years. We are pleased to have her lead our claims organization going forward as we continue our mission of being the preferred workers compensation solution for business owners in California,” said Khan. “Stephanie’s leadership and expertise will play an important role in our company’s future success.”
Who is Stephanie Graham?
Graham first joined Preferred Employers Insurance as assistant vice president for medical services and claim operations. Prior to her time in the firm, she held leadership roles in product and network management with group health providers, claim administrators, and several insurance carriers such as Zenith Insurance and CCN Managed Care Inc.
Before her time in the insurance industry, Graham was a research psychologist at the Navy Personnel Research and Development Center. Graham received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from San Diego State University and her MBA from the University of Redlands.
Taking effect May 31, Graham’s promotion preceded the recent promotion of Eric Hansen to senior vice president in June.
Preferred Employers Insurance is a Berkley company which is focused on workers’ compensation insurance and is based exclusively in California.
